Strategy #2

Emitted Light
Close to all of the light we see outside during a bright day is reflected sunlight. Very little amount of light originates elsewhere when the sun comes out. This strategy has me seeking out and using light sources other than the sun during a sunny day. One example would be a signal light at an intersection, but I am sure that one could find many, more interesting and usually unnoticed examples of emitted light in the daytime. This light could be captured at close enough range so that the reaction, at least initially, is, "what is that?"
